If your child is currently uninsured and your family income falls within these guidelines, most likely your child is eligible for Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids, or Kaiser Permanente's Child Health Plan.

Based on the 2009 Federal Poverty Guidelines
Important to Know:
- Programs include health, dental and vision coverage for children
- You will pay $0-15 per month, per child depending on your family size and monthly income
- Children need to be legal residents of the U.S. for some programs, but not all.
- Children cannot be enrolled in employer-based health coverage for the last 90 days.
- Child support, alimony, workers compensation and unemployment all count as family income
- Some deductions will be applied to your monthly income including childcare expenses, work deduction and child support
- Some programs may not be enrolling new members at all times. Please act fast and call today!
It is important to work with a Certified Application Assistant (CAA) to make sure that your application is completed accurately and completely. Your CAA can also help you with any problems that may come up with enrollment or accessing your health plan.
